NVESTIGATIONS FOR SURROGATE

Tests done prior to Recruitment:

·       General Physical check up
·       BMI
·       BP
·       Haemogramme
·       Blood group
·       Thyroid hormone test
·       Prolactin Test
·       HIV
·       HCV (Hepatitis C)
·       HBSAG (Hepatitis B)
·       VDRL (Venereal disease)
·       TORCH IgM(Toxoplasma,Rubella,Cytomegalo and Herpes)
·       Test for Tuberculosis
·       Blood sugar
·       PAP smear
·       Urine tests
·       Kidney Function test
·       Liver Function test
·       Ultrasound abdomen and pelvis 

Tests to be done in pregnancy
The following Tests are done routinely on 4-8weekly basis
·       Hemoglobin
·       Blood sugar
·       Glucose tolerance test (if required)
·       Urine Tests
·       If required Liver and kidney function tests.
·       Other routine test requested by obstetrician

ULTRSOUNDS

  • At 6weeks for number of pregnancies(number of fetal sacs),  their location, fetal pole and to check for heart beat (Cardiac Activity)
  • 12-13weeks Level 1 scan: for Early Morphology scan and for Nuchal Translucency`
  • Level 2 scan at 18-20weeks:to check for major structural anomaly of the fetus.
  • At 28weeks -32weeks and as per obstetricians request
  • Ultrasound at term
The patient visits the doctor every 3weekly in early pregnancy and later the visits to the doctor is 2 weekly.
If the intended parents require any other lab test that can be performed, charges not included in this package.
